Dryden is situated along the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17) almost exactly half-way between Winnipeg, MB to the west and Thunder Bay, ON to the east and about 180 kilometers (112 miles) north of the United States border at International Falls, MN (Via highways 11 and 502). CKDR (92.7FM Dryden) also has transmitters in Ignace (AM1340), Sioux Lookout (97.1FM), Hudson (AM1450), Ear Falls (AM1450), Red Lake (97.1FM), and Atikokan (AM1240).
