Crime Stoppers

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner, J.S. Elliott, has offered a glowing acknowledgement of Crime Stoppers programs and the many volunteers who contribute to the program’s success.

The letter follows releases from Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty commending the organization during National Crime Stoppers Month.  Specifically, the Commissioner points to the theme, “Helping to Stop, Solve and Prevent Crime Together”, the partnership between Crime Stopper programs, the public, the media and the various police organizations involved.

“In Canada, there are Crime Stopper programs in every province and territory, more than 100 programs providing Crime Stoppers coverage to over 4,000 Canadian communities.”

Crime Stoppers of Northwestern Ontario and Northern Minnesota covers a large region that extends from Roseau Minnesota to International Falls, Ignace Ontario to the Manitoba border and all points north.  Our program’s success depends upon the relationship with our generous sponsors and donors.  To help out with a donation, please click the link below.
