The Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is looking to recover a stolen outboard motor.

Just before 1:00 A.M. on Friday the 8th of January, Police responded to a report of a theft in progress at Dingwall Ford on King St. in Sioux Lookout.  A lone male dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans had been observed climbing over the fenced compound and removing an outboard motor. He was last seen walking east in the back alley of Front St.

Stolen was a 9.9 Yamaha outboard motor valued at approximately $2,000.00.
